Some New Updates

28 06 2007

Haha! So there I am again. I’ll make this quick since my break is up to the 30th minute of the 13th hour of the day. Crappy. Then I have to run to the third floor of the PLDT CTC. Great. This day is really getting weirder and weirder than I thought. Haha!

Anyway, some fresh updates for you:

The Ateneo RecWeek is finally over (well, almost, that is). It was the time when the different accredited and unaccredited orgs of the Loyola Schools market themselves to the general public. I was thinking of something like this during the RecWeek: “If the Atenean’s focus is about being for others, why join the Business cluster, and not the Sector-based Cluster?” Perhaps what I still need is an eye-opener of what’s the real goings-on in these clusters, so that I myself, will be able to hear the blasting cheering of the Ateneo.

Speaking of Ateneo, for the High School Graduating class of 2008, and for those of you who are already in the tertiary level, but willing to go the Ateneo way, application forms are now available at the Office of Admission and Aid. If you want, I can purchase one for you. Of course, you must contact me first.

I recently signed up for the Guidon, the official newspaper of the Ateneo. Haha! This is really the BIG TIME. I signed up for the Inquiry arm of the Guidon (so we’re really like the Probe, as its editor has said yesterday, during the General Assembly). There you go.

Anyway, my body is still aching, thanks to my PE: Muay Thai! Oww. I should love it, anyway.

College Days is HERE and NOW.

20 06 2007

Call me an idiot or what, but that is the truth. Yes, folks…finally, I am here in the college (oops, I should say in the university, haha! :) ). Anyway, I pulled Aby to the CTC computer labs for us to check the net, and to do lots of internet-related stuffs. For that, send me a big round of KUDOS! Haha!

Anyway,  the Orsem in the Ateneo was really a fantastic one, thanks to its organizers, and our beloved TNTs and LOGS (Kuya Edge, Ate Issa, Kuya Law, and Ate Cookie). Haha! GO BS MAC! **for the pictures, go to the OrSem website.

Phew. So much for that, let me tell you that most of our works will be internet-related. AS IN. We carry a thick CHEMISTRY BOOK, four times a week (and its whopping HEAVYYY). Well, learning is fun when you do that, you know. No Pain, no GAIN.

Anyway, see you guys around!

**PS: FOR THE SENIORS BATCH 2007-2008, ATENEO IS NOW ACCEPTING THE APPLICATIONS. FOR DETAILS, GO TO http://www.ateneo.edu

Banana!

Finally, the OrSem is done at last. I would like to congratulate the OrSem committee, core, the TNTs like kuya edge and ate issa, QQ’s logs like ate cookie and kuya law, and joy even, for making the OrSem as successful as a BLAST. Haha! Good job, guys! Truly, No other university does it the way OURS’ do| AdMU .

Anyway, the semester will begin in two days’ time, and I still feel quite anxious about things. Am I even ready to face the MAC’s rigorous training? I’ll ask His divine power to maneuver me in college. After all, it was all because of Him that we exist. Anyway, I remember kuya edge asking me, “seryoso ka sa 4th choice mo?”. Haha! Kuya edge, maybe it is destined for me not to take up the pre-divinity course. Yep, I had plans of becoming a priest, but I am sure that our paths will be truly enlightened in God’s time.

Do expect a long hiatus from now on. Upperclassmen say that we dont have time for vacation. Haha! It’s ok, anyway. By the way, my first subject ever, in college, is Chemistry (lecture). That goes to all the weekdays except Thursday.

See you around guys, and have a wonderful day! :)

I owe a lot in Blog. That is for sure.

4 06 2007

I miss blogging more than editing mountainous entries for the Fiduciaries! Haha! Oh, well. Can I just say I miss the both of them? :)

As always, maaga nanaman ang gising. 5.45 kahapon, at 5.50 naman ngayon. Pwede na. I did some household chores with my siblings yesterday morning (sweep the floor, wash the dishes, etc), and all I can say is it is really tiring to do things like that. Well, at least I am quite fine in doing those chores. Haha! Oh well. I’ll definitely lower the frequency of me doing the chores, but yes, I’ll still do some.

I was bothered by the “nosebleed..nosebleed!” taunts, whenever they ask me “What’s my course?”. Modesty aside, I am in Ateneo, taking up Management of Applied Chemistry! The course is hell, I should say. Ha! Oh well, be proud that you are in the Ateneo de Manila University, and be proud of your course. E yun ang totoo eh, ano naman ang magagawa mo dun, di ba? Actually, the more difficult courses in the Ateneo are those 5-year double degree courses like BS/MS Chemistry, BS Chemistry-Applied Computer Systems, and so on… Hemorrhage!

Yesterday, the meeting started at around 2pm. It was a hot Sunday. Tsk. I was even time-disoriented. It felt like it was Monday! Oh…geez. We played the game called “The Egg”. Our team’s name was: “Ang Itlog”. Haha! Nice translation! Actually, the main objective of the game is to protect the egg from breaking when dropped from a certain height using a meter of masking tape and a broadsheet-size newspaper. All of us, fortunately, failed. Haha! I remember that our team was the unique one. Haha! The egg was wrapped in a newspaper, as always, and was attached with a newspaper-made parachute! Haha! How’s that for a newbie like us?

The meeting ended at exactly 4pm. We ate, and then took off to an almost stroll outside the Filinvest Multi-purpose Hall. Tita Grace, and Aby insisted on driving me to JR’s place. Waa. No choice ata.
Magagalit sila tita, and Aby. Haha!

I had my driving lessons again with Tito ‘Omy and JR. Whoa. Palpak ulit! Tsk. Pwede na rin, kahit papaano.

Tiring day it was. It ended up with a talk (phone talk), a prayer and a good night sleep.

I owe a lot in my blogs. Thanks to the blog, it kept my friendship with Aby intact, and lots more.

To me blogs, THANK YOU. :)
