I need a breather.

I took two tests this week, one is the ITM 11 diagnostic exam (for all courses under SOM, plus MECO [I think]). Hmm. The test was really hell, like…watamigoingtodoinexcel! I don’t know. Should I blame my High School for that, or should I blame myself for being such an ignorant fool? I should have browsed more Excel-related books and attended classes outside my then school.

Well, back in high school, this topic was really not discussed. Hmm. I have no idea why, but all I know is that they don’t discuss spreadsheet handling. Actually, even word processing was not discussed. It was like as long as students can type well, create slide shows with transitions and (annoying) sounds, ok na yun. Hmm. Ok na. Tsk.

Ma19 is good. It’s a 6-unit course for all SOM students, and it is a code for Applied Calculus for Business.

The preparation was really loooooooooooooooooong. Days, perhaps more than 2 weeks, to be exact. But….

Oh well, Math is not Chemistry.

That’s one thing I am sure of.

There was then the Star Wars. I guess now there’s the resufacing of the network wars, and people are taking sides already despite the premature nature of the argument. Was there any tampering that took place in the area(s) mentioned, i.e. Bacolod? Were there organizations or individuals involved in the incident?

Am disappointed on how the people turned it out. Here’s one of the comments attached in a certain Youtube video:

Let us look to his posted arguments. It is true that rather GMA allegedly is involed in the argument on AGB Nielsen Media Research, however how come ABS-CBN is so controversial now, and is tagged as a network “confirmed (to be a) manipulator and mandaraya ( cheater)”? Proofs stipulated above does not confirm the allegations on ABS-CBN as a manipulator and so on. Have the proofs on Wowowee been verified by experts? It is more of a hasty generalization rather than anything else, since it is only Wowowee that is involved here.

Second, the involement of Meralco is highly questionable.Although, according to the text quoted above, Meralco was some ”glutton” organization since it did not refund the excess collection, it does not follow that ABS-CBN will be gluttonous. They are different companies, basically and the link between them is very small.

To the people hurling stones, let the court decide upon this matter. It is a matter of legality, and we should let the people under this sphere handle the issue at hand. Like what I have said above, the issue is still premature, whether you look it on ABS-CBN’s perspective or GMA’s.
